As someone who has looked at tons of diamonds online, I would recommend buying a diamond online (or in person, actually) only if it is GIA-certified. A diamond is a very significant purchase, and you definitely want to be sure that you know what you're buying! The 4 Cs can't be determined with the naked eye... this has to be done in a laboratory. And there are tons of ways to alter diamonds today. So definitely, definitely insist on a GIA diamond grading report with your diamond.

Buying a diamond is a big investment and can be a stressful and complicated process. With a set budget, you must determine how to spend your money. Do you want a low-quality, larger diamond? Or, do you prefer a higher quality smaller diamond? All diamonds share common features called the Four C’s: cut, color, carat and clarity, which determine a stone’s quality. A high-quality, white diamond will have no color. Most stones have traces of faint yellow or brown color. At LuxJewels.net we believe the diamond quality is a critical factor, so bigger is not always better. So which of the Four C’s is most important when it comes to the brilliance of a diamond? This is a matter of taste, however at LuxJewels.net we feel a smaller diamond that is better in color and cut with clarity grade no lower than an SI1, will be more brilliant than a larger stone of lower quality that’s valued at the same price. At LuxJewels.net we take the stress and complication out of buying a diamond. Search our inventory and contact us to discuss your needs and our professional staff will help you find the ideal diamond
